About us
In the twentieth century, many Armenian composers worked simultaneously in academic and non-academic genres.
These are composers of the Soviet and post-Soviet era, such as Aram Khachaturian, Edgar Hovhannisyan, Arno Babajanyan, Robert Amirkhanyan, and others. They also created original works for cinema, which over time became classics and firmly established in the concert repertoire of many artists.
The library includes songs created by Armenian composers in the Soviet and post-Soviet periods,as well as urban romances, songs from films and dance hits.
The anthology of popular Armenian songs was created to preserve the musical heritage and pass it on to future generations.
